Our new art enrichment programs are fee-based classes which you can register for via the Parent Portal.
*Infant and preschool age group art class offerings are parent-child classrooms located in the kindergarten room.

Monday
Story Book Art (3-5) Students will learn how fun art can be through the magic of books. Using book illustrations as a template, we will explore different art styles. In this class, we will read childhood favorites such as Eric Carle and Lois Elhert and make projects based on their stories.
Playdough Kitchen (3-5) It’s time to make some delicious food out of playdough. In this class, we will learn the steps of making Playdough and then we will cut, roll and make our own food to serve in our Playdough restaurant. See what food your child creates.
Tuesday
Manga, Anime Chibe, and More (11-16)
Learn how to draw your favorite anime characters including, backgrounds, bodies and facial features, trendy clothing, and hair. We will focus on coloring techniques, styles, poses, clothing, and creating characters. Mediums will include working with colored pencils, markers, and watercolor.
Wednesday
Mixed Medium Art (3-5) In this class, students will use a variety of materials to make art. From collage to painting, to using crayons. Mixing art materials is a great way for students to explore their creative side.
Animal Art (3-5) Have your child explore their wild side. Each week we will be making our favorite animal out of different materials. From collage, painting, chalk or oil pastel. What kind of animal will you create?
Thursday
Acrylic Painting (11-16) In this class, your teen will learn a variety of painting techniques. They will learn blending, radiating, and layering of colors. They will make landscapes, animals, portraits, abstract art and tape painting.
Friday
Beyond Brushes (1-2) This class is for little ones and their families to explore the arts without using a paintbrush. Materials include paper towel tubes, foam stamps, and even wooden cars. See all the fun art your child can make.
Elements of Art Class (3-5) If your child loves to do art, and wants to grow their skill. This class teaches you about shape, line, form, texture, and space and has projects based around those elements. See what your child can make.
Saturday
Cartoon Creations (6-10) In this class students will learn the basics of drawing cartoons and superheroes. The step-by-step instruction in this class will teach the students valuable lessons in how to draw, and give them the tools to begin to draw their own characters!
Watercolor Painting (6-10) In this class, students will learn a variety of watercolor techniques and how to use them to create breathtaking paintings, from watercolor resist to watercolor flowers. This class is for anyone who wants to bring their art to the next level.
